Cashflow analysis apps
DECCF is a portal for cashflow-based analysis applications. Install Calculator Apps from Marketplace, enter your inputs and explore the results. Use them to compare choices, build forecasts and understand how money moves over time.
You can also create your own applications and extension modules. The Calculator App Editor combines a small model definition with reusable domain packs, so you can build advanced calculations without rebuilding timelines, cashflows or financial formulas yourself. Enable Developer mode in User settings to access the editor, publishing tools and Web APIs.
Published calculations can earn you credits. When another user calls your priced Web API, saves a new case in your app, or uses your priced domain pack in a calculation, the author price is credited to you. When you use other people's services, you spend credits. System costs are included in the total prices shown in Marketplace and on app cards.
Manage your balance, earnings per application, spending and request history in Billing and credits in User settings. New users receive 1,000 credits by default. Paid operations stop when your balance reaches zero or below; you can then use Buy more credits to refill it. At the initial price, 1,000 credits cost 10 USD. Billing is currently offline, so the refill button instead gives you complimentary credits: 1,000 by default. Administrators can configure the current USD price per credit, the new-user allowance and the complimentary refill amount.
The value of credits can change over time, much like a share price. If DECCF raises the credit price, your accumulated credits become worth more; a lower price reduces their value. The current price applies to all your credits, including those acquired earlier. Check the current price and balance value in Billing and credits.
Publishing FAQ
Can I receive a cash payout for my credits?
Yes. Before conversion to money, all complimentary credits you previously received are deducted from your current balance. This includes your new-user allowance, free refills while billing is offline and administrator credit grants. If the deduction exceeds your balance, the payout basis is zero.
The remaining credits are converted using DECCF's current USD price per credit. Payouts are made only for amounts over 200 USD, calculated before the fee. A 5% payout fee is deducted from that amount. For example, a balance of 26,000 credits with 1,000 complimentary credits previously received gives a basis of 25,000 credits. At 0.01 USD per credit, that is 250 USD, with a 12.50 USD fee and a 237.50 USD net payout.
How do I publish a Calculator App or Web API?
Save your model in the editor, then open Publishing. Choose whether to publish it as a Calculator App, a Web API, or both. Set case storage separately for each variant, set your credit prices, save the draft and publish a version. A domain pack has its own publication and price per calculation in which it is included.
Can I call the Web API of my own unpublished application?
No. Publish a version as a Web API first. Your draft remains available in the editor, but API calls run a published version. Create a Personal Access Token in User settings and give it access to that API and the case functions you need. Enable public API access exposes the calculation endpoint; storage still requires a valid PAT with the appropriate permissions.
Must I keep my API visible in Marketplace?
An API must be published to be callable. Hide from Marketplace removes its listing while keeping its published versions and existing API access active. Hiding a listing does not make it a private internal application or grant access to new users.
Do I need to publish if my colleagues want to use my app?
Yes. Publish the Calculator App or Web API so your colleagues can install and use it. Private internal applications will be supported later. Sharing a draft does not provide colleagues with a runnable installed application.
How are drafts and versions handled?
Saving changes creates or updates a draft. Publishing makes a new version available; it does not overwrite a version that someone already installed. Users explicitly install an update. Published versions retain their model and module snapshots and author prices. A saved case retains the app version and inputs with which it was saved, even after an app update.
System-supplied apps and domain packs follow the same rules. A newer platform build becomes a draft for administrator review when an older version already exists in the database. It must be published before users can install that update.
What does it cost to use an app I created myself?
Calculations in the editor are free. Running your app as a Calculator App uses the normal UI system cost and any priced domain packs. Calling your published API uses the normal API system cost, your API calculation price and any priced packs. Your own author prices are credited back to your account; system fees and other authors' module prices are still costs to you.
By default, system costs are 1 credit per UI calculation, 3 per API calculation, 2 per new case saved via UI, and 5 per new case saved via API. Administrators can change these rates. Creating a new case adds the app's price for the chosen channel. Updating, listing, opening and deleting existing cases are free. A calculation request is charged once, regardless of the number of scenarios or simulation trials.
Can I try an API without spending credits?
Yes. Open Web Api Central from Your Apps and choose Open Swagger. It creates a temporary PAT for you. Test requests authenticated with that temporary PAT are free, including case operations. A regular PAT uses the normal API prices, even when you send its request from a browser.
Can I access the same cases through the UI and API?
Yes, when you have access to both the Calculator App and its Web API with case storage enabled. Cases belong to your account and application, so a case saved through the API is also available in the UI. A PAT must explicitly allow each case action: list, save, get, update or delete.
Can I change my prices or remove an app later?
Change prices in a draft and publish a new version. Existing installations keep their version's author prices until they update. Global system rates apply at the time of a request.
You can hide a published app from Marketplace without removing its published versions. If you delete an app that other users installed, it is hidden and transferred to the system owner so their installations can continue working.
